Air Traffic Chaos (DS)

airMany people have a gripe with the videogaming industry. They say that games nowadays are just the same old stuff over and over again. That there is no new creativeness, no innovation in games. Well, that might be the case, but really, if you look hard enough, you can find many different “innovative” games. They all share their own common factor, though; most of them are very poor games.

Fear not! however, because Majesco is here to save us all with the FRESH and pretty much EXHILARATING new game…Air Traffic Chaos. Never before has anyone outside of the specifically trained personnel of airports been able to feel the rush of controlling air traffic. Dragging and pointing your way across the runways and tires, you control when and where these planes go! OH, THE POWER! I can never see anyone getting tired of this one!

Martial Arts: Capoeria (MANY)

If YOU were given the chance to make a videogame revolving around one mmdancemartial art, it would most definitely be the one that makes a WWE match look legit, right!? Well, that must have been Twelve Interactive’s thinking when it chose Capoeria as its art of choice. As EVERYONE already knows, Capoeria is a Brazilian MMA style that more resembles break dancing than any sort of fighting, and it’s more popular with teen girls worldwide than any other martial art!

Enough about the fabulous history of capoeira—onto the game! Most fighting games are action-packed and keep up a blistering pace, things that capoeira is no stranger too! Unfortunately, endings are something that capoeira is a stranger to, and a single match in this game can easily go on for upwards of six hours as your digital avatar cartwheels, headspins, and flails his legs at his opponent without much success. But boy, does it ever look pretty!

Emergency Heroes (Wii)

Now here is what videogames should be all about: making the dreams of emer1children come true! Everyone knows that, when they were kids, they wanted to be a policeman or a firefighter. Though, of course, this may or may not have been because they only jobs kids are aware of are policemen and firefighters…and, well, ninjas. In any case, games that let us live our childhood fantasies are always welcome. Drive around the city, and help people! Show up members of the opposite factions, just like in real life! It is all fun in the lives of being a real-life hero…you know, from the comfort and safety of your gaming console.

The greatest part of this game might be that it involves things, with wheels and yet…it does NOT involve any sort of racing. It truly might be the first of its kind! Also, it is a Wii game that does not, in any form, make you do jumping jacks or run a while…a TRUE innovation, indeed.

Stalin vs. Martians (PC)

Well, well, well. Those crazy Russians are at it again. Whoever would havestalinthought it—Josef Stalin, videogame Hero. It’s being called a strategy game for those who hate strategy games, and it has Stalin fighting space aliens, so one might think that this is just a fun game made for some laughs and good times for all, right? WRONG! This game is some SERIOUS BUSINESS!

I have it on some very good authority that not only is Stalin still alive, but, in fact, he is hidden away in a secret location preparing for a even secreter alien attack. This game is the first in a series of training modules for the next great heroes of the world—those who shall rise up and save us from this alien threat!! Now, I am not saying that everyone needs to buy this game and master it for the good of humanity…I’m just saying…do what I just said.

Zombie BBQ (DS)

With a name like Zombie BBQ, it has to be good! I mean that. It has too. Or zombiesomeone will pay with blood.

THANKFULLY, Zombie BBQ is the greatest game to come out. Yup. Greatest game ever made to date. No debate about it. I mean, how could it not be? There are ZOMBIES!, and, uh…BARBEQUES! I am dead serious—this game is just beyond words.

Yes, I did mostly definitely, in fact, play this game, and I definitely do know what I am talking about. No, I am not just putting words together to fill up space. MOST DEFINITELY not. You got zombies doing all this…stuff…it’s just wow. WOW! And then the BBQ! OMG! You won’t even believe it until you see it. EVEN THEN!, you wont believe it. In fact, I don’t think we will be able to comprehend the amazingness of this game for decades to come. Maybe even eons.

Trust me, though, this game really is as good as I say. I just know these things.
