Recently, a lot of attention has been paid to Guitar Hero 4, to which a lot of people have to say “Rock Band’s better”. To these people, I offer a suggestion: Don’t fight it. Just take it, nice and slow. Why do you have to pick a better game? Why can’t you own both and double up on fun rhythm games? “But I don’t wanna buy a new drumset!” I hear you cry. So don’t. Just buy the game and relax.
Yes, people eat up the mediocre fun that is Guitar Hero and Rock Band because they enjoy rhythm games and custom content and having fun with their console. Buying one game over the other doesn’t make them morons; it makes them consumers. You’re not going to get another Rock Band for a while, so try something new and don’t make it a war. It’s petty.
