I remember the time I gave Sonic CD straight 10s... Whether or not my ratings are questionable, I honestly believe Katamari Forever deserves the scores I have given it, and no more or less. Reviews are, in their very nature, OBJECTION!able.

[...] a load of shit we’ve already had before, mashed together like carrot and swede? Sounds like Katamari Whatever to me. At least the PS3 rolling simulator was a labor of love—Smash Hits isn’t. It’s [...]

I disagree with the fact that I should write my own review when I can just reply on this thread. Besides, I was more disagreeing with the score, rather than the actual descriptions. Does England use the same 1-10 scoring system?

@Mark - The graphics are pretty good, and the framerate stayed good throughout for me, no questions asked. As for the soundtrack, I thought it was all brilliant. Don't agree? Write your own review. Critics are put here on Earth to cause disagreement, something I have to tell myself everytime someone has a view I disagree with.

@Paul - They're on constantly until you beat a level in "Classic" mode. And each level, unless beaten, forces you to play it with the associated filter. They get in the way occasionally.

@Mark: Oh, wait, are the filters not necessary? I thought the filters were always on; that's one of the reasons I'm not that interested in the game, because it sounds like the filters kind of get in the way of fun.

If the series has been milked dry, and there's not much new to the series (I agree), then is it really 7.5 for Novelty? While the graphics may be 1080, they're still pretty crusty, and the frame rate drops lower than my pants sometimes.

The graphic filters are nice, but how come you can only choose them after you beat the main game and only on levels you've beaten. Same deal with audio tracks. I think they should have just used the original songs instead of remixing them. A lot of the songs in this game really sucked.
