E3 is great and all, but what about all the other developers?

We all know about E3—the yearly event where we get to hear news about all the great big-name games from big-name companies. You know what to expect, and it’s always great to hear what’s coming up for your favorite series.

But, what about everyone else? What about all of the indie developers out there trying to make a name for themselves? There’s basically no room to break in at E3. Do you try your hardest to get a foot in at GDC? Do you get involved with the Indie Megabooth at PAX? Do you settle for trying to sneak in at a local convention and hope for the best?

Indie3-Revolution

That’s where IndiE3 comes in. IndiE3 is a gaming convention for everyone. Don’t have the pull or the funds to get your foot in at a one of the big conventions? IndiE3 is free. Don’t have the time or money to fly out somewhere and book a hotel for the weekend? IndiE3 is live, online.

There are previews. There are panels. There are game tournaments and events. There’s even a live Game Jam!

What started out as an idea between a few friends exploded onto Twitter over the course of the past weekend, gaining an amazing amount of support from both devs and fans.

And, it’s all happening live—today on hitbox.tv! So, what are you waiting for? Go get involved!

(Don’t worry. If you miss it, everything that happens is being recorded and archived. Check it out even if you can’t see it live!)
