Crash Bandicoot: Warped is the third game in the Playstation Crash Bandicoot series.  The object of this game is to try and save all of the gems and crystals from Dr. Neo Cortex and his side-kick Ucka Ucka, as you play the roles of Crash and his sister Coco.

crashsnThe game starts out with Crash in a giant round circle — the Warp Room.  If you have Crash run around the Warp Room you will see five other circles —  the Worlds — each containing five levels; but only one of these other circles will be open.  Once you enter the first open World you will come upon five blue “buttons”, each numbered one through five.  These five buttons are the levels, and to enter a level you must bounce on a button and jump into the circle that appears.  In order to pass each level so that you can move into another World, you must collect the level’s purple crystal (you can also receive a clear crystal by hitting all of the brown boxes).  After you’ve collected the purple crystal from each level of that World, you wil l be faced with one of Dr. Cortex’s henchmen.  If you defeat this villain, the next World will open and you can choose to move on to the next level, or to stay put and collect some of the other gems that give you special privileges.  Crash Bandicoot: Warped has about thirty levels.  In order to see the full ending you must capture twenty-five crystals, twenty-eight relics, five colored gems, and thirty-seven clear gems.

I must say, out of the three Playstation Crash Bandicoot games, this would be the best in the graphics area and entertaining the player.  However, this game is extremely frustrating and requires a great deal of patience.  Altogether this game was made for hard-core gamers, and not the casual ones.  I give this game a five out of ten for the casual gamers.
