Dear Readers,

This is it.  This is the last issue of GameCola to be produced partly in Tabernacle, NJ.  By the time you’ll have started reading my opening column, Brian Wolf, Matt Gardner, Jenna Ogilvie, Neal Iannone, and myself will all have started our freshman years at college.

We’re not the only GC staff members to be attending a new school this September.  Kyle Ogilvie will be commencing his freshman year of high school.  As for the rest of Team GameCola, they’re reaching the twilight years of their secondary educations, and soon they’ll find themselves in my current position.

So where does this leave our favorite online gaming newsletter?  Never fear, loyal readers!  We will continue to do our best in putting out a quality issue each and every month, despite this new-found distance between us.  Some of us are now in Pennsylvania, others are as far away as Maryland, but nothing is going to stop us from doing that which we love.  Except maybe laziness.

Hopefully we’ll all be making new friends in our new schools, and hopefully these new friends will turn into new subscribers, who could turn GameCola into an even bigger newsletter than it already is.  Hopefully, someday, we’ll even become a full-fledged magazine; but that day is far off in the distance.  For now, even as a brand-new college (and high school) students, we’ll just keep doing that which we do best — whatever that may be.

Thanks for reading.

Love,

Paul Franzen
