Not many people I know like the Tomb Raider series.  I don’t know why.  The main character is very likeable and attractive.  The plot is all about exploring.  Oh well, I’ll keep playing it as long as I like it.

tr2snBut I have gotten more out of the Tomb Raider series besides a love for Lara Croft.  I have gained an interest in ancient culture.  I am interested in Egypt the most because of The Last Revelation.  Tomb Raider 2 was the first one I played.  The first level was very addicting to me.  So, a new breed of games was born to me, as well as a new interest in life.

I guess this is just like some of the older columns about karate and skateboarding.  Video games can get you very interested in topics.  Learning from video games is good as long as you know what you are doing.  For instance, Grand Theft Auto would be a gad game to learn from.  As long as the person is responsible, video games are great teachers.
