Dear Readers,

Change, as candy has noted, is good. We’ve given you new writers, we’ve given you a better layout, and now, we’re giving this: Twelve more issues a year.

I’ve split the staff in half, with one group publishing on the first of every month and the other publishing on the fifteenth. Hold on to your turbans, kids; GameCola’s going bi-weekly!

Each issue will have only half the articles you’re used to, but we’ve got too many articles per issue now, anyway. Or so says my big brother, at least…who I’m pretty sure hasn’t played videogame since Super Mario Bros. was a killer app. While I’m not sure he’s right, I’ve done what I can to make each issue even more palatable. There isn’t actually any less content—it’s just been sliced up into bite-sized chunks.

That’s what we’re all about here at GameCola: making the reader happy. Now, in turn, I’d like something from the reader.

I told you last month that we’re in desperate need of a new logo, in doing so kicking off the “Holy Crap Please Give us a New Logo” contest. Quite frankly, your response has completely failed at life. As in, you completely ignored GameCola.

I don’t know what to make of this. Maybe you just didn’t read Dear Readers last month. Or maybe you forgot. Maybe you’re just taking your time. But GameCola doesn’t have until the 12th of never.

You’ve seen the logo, and you know how horrible it is You know you could do a better job. As I showed you last month, we can’t really handle the whole logo-making thing. But I know you can.

You’re probably thinking that you’d like to try it, but someone way more talented will enter and put your logo to shame. That’s not going to happen. Seriously. You’re the best there is.

You know what I think it is? I think you just forgot the e-mail address. So here it is:

Remember: Whoever makes our logo gets a free GameCola t-shirt! With the logo you’ve created on it, no less!
