The newest game in the Phoenix Wright series, Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, comes out this week, and so, Phoenix Wright fans are getting really excited.  In particular, I’m pretty sure that GameCola Head Editor Paul Franzen has put this game on the list of discussion topics for the next five podcasts, in addition to sending out a mass e-mail ordering all staff members to buy a copy.

HOLD IT!

You’re not going to play the game without knowing the story first, are you?  If you haven’t played Phoenix Wright: Justice for All, you won’t know who Franziska von Karma is, and you’ll be totally confused when she appears in the second and fourth cases of the Miles Edgeworth game.

Fortunately, I’ve got you covered.

All this month, GameCola is going to be releasing videos for the second Phoenix Wright game in order to help entertain fans of the series.  Videos for Case One and Case Two have already been released, and you can expect an official report from GameCola once all the videos are done.  If you want to get caught up with the series before buying the new game, this is probably the best way to do it without actually playing the games yourself.

Or if you just want to watch the videos so you can laugh at me for mispronouncing Japanese words, that’s OK, too.  (Sample commentary: “Hakama? Hawk-uhma? Haw-ka-mah? Howdy Doody?”)

Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!
