Confession time: I have never played Kingdom Hearts.
I know, I know. Everyone tells me that it’s a must-buy, because it’s the best series ever. And even though I’m a huge Disney nerd, I’ve never gotten around to playing a Kingdom Hearts game.
Until now! Just the other day, I went to the library and picked up the only Kingdom Hearts game they had: Kingdom Hearts: [Insert Stupid Name That Makes No Sense]. I mean, Kingdom Hearts: Re:Chain of Memories. I played the game for exactly one hour, and as I should have guessed from the title, the game made absolutely no sense whatsoever.
Highlights from the one hour foray into Kingdom Hearts include:
- The part where I guess wrong about the main character’s gender.
- The part where I fail the tutorial.
- The part where our hero meets Leon, and I do all sorts of stupid voices for the dialogue.
