As Nathaniel “the GM” Hoover lets Michael “PANC the Fighter” Ridgaway get away with riding off toward Coneria atop the fearsome WarMECH, Michael “ALPH the Red Mage” Gray, Joseph “JOEV the White Mage” Martin, and Anna “LITA the Black Mage” Bryniarski join with the what’s left of the LIGHT WARRIORS to take on CHAOS, who is a totally appropriate final boss fight for Level 5 characters.

FF Chaos BossBrace yourself for the final installment of this misguided quest for pancakes, in which you can expect to hear:

  • Unnecessarily environmentally friendly camping gear
  • The GM’s miscalculation almost allows WarMECH to deal 63,000 damage. Stay in school, kids—it saves lives. Well, if it were anything other than WarMECH, it’d save lives.
  • LITA kills someone with a shirt
  • PANC TURNS DOWN PANCAKES
  • Double regicide

The adventure concludes here!

Lastly, because there’s no sense letting passably entertaining audio go to waste, here’s a little bonus compilation of a few fun scraps that didn’t make the final cut. Enjoy! OR CHAOS WILL EAT YOU.

Nathaniel Hoover is almost certainly GameCola's most verbose staff member, and arguably the most eclectic. As administrator of the GameCola YouTube channel (GCDotNet), occasional contributor to every article category on the site, and staff editor, you're pretty much stuck with him wherever you go. Sorry.

  1. This was excellent to listen to while trying to rest and get over a nasty cold. Thank you for the excellent tale, I’m sure it’ll go down in history with the rest of the epics.
