Paul,
In your “Dear Readers” section, you mention a commercial with a grandpa playing video games with his grandson.
It is the grandson who consistently beats the grandfather (not the other way around like you suggest). The grandson keep saying “I win”, “I win”. Finally, when his batteries are dying, the grandfather wins. He then proceeds to stand up and celebrate.
Also, do you know of any game system that puts a big graphic on the screen to show that the batteries are dying? My GBA only has a little light that changes color…
Your faithful reader,
Joe

Dear GameCola kids,
As per your request here is my update on the paperclip situation. Here’s the thing, and keep this in mind because I’ve found that it applies to just about everything in life, it’s not the quantity, but the quality of my collection that makes it so special. In fact, I have only one paperclip, it’s small and covered in black plastic. I count it a few times a day and when I’m done I shampoo my little dog muffy, but that’s another story all together. Thank you for your interest, it’s so nice to have a friend, uh erm, another friend.
Truly yours,
