Sony announced today that, for the first time since it was released in 2006 at the price of everything in your bank account, the PlayStation 3 would be dropping to a price that’s actually reasonable for a videogame console. As of IMMEDIATELY, the PS3 is officially going down from its current cost of $300 to $250. (Though, at this price, it’ll still be more expensive than the 360, the cheapest model of which currently retails for $200, and the Wii, which you can now purchase on Craigslist for belly buton lint.)
Sony also announced that they’re bringing out a new PSP model in Europe this year, which makes sense, because there are so many PSP games being made right now, and they talked about several new PS3 and Vita games, including Resistance: Burning Skies,Ā Escape Plan, and Infamous 2 DLC in which the main character turns into a vampire.
Ps3 hitting a reasonable price? That’s impossible.
I didn’t think it could be done, either! I bet it means PS4 is coming out next year.
