Sure, you can get 10 games for $50 on Steam—but, you can get 50 games for that price on itch.io, and the money goes straight to the developers who made the game. Literally, it goes into their PayPal account the moment you click “pay”. You have hundreds of games to choose from, and you’ll be giving hard-working developers something to be thankful for, and money for them to spend on food and rent this holiday season.
So, do your part and buy some indie games! If you end up not liking the games yourself, maybe you can pass them off as gifts for friends for Christmas.
