On the heels of yesterday’s historic tragedy, GameStop has decided to try to make amends to it’s (justifiably) jilted customer base: they’re offering $50 GameStop gift cards to anyone who purchased Deux Ex: Human Revolution from the evil retail outlet and didn’t receive the appropriate OnLive coupon code. Joystiq also reports that they’re offering a “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” deal on all used games to anyone with a Human Revolution receipt, but since every time I’ve gone into a GameStop they’ve been having that exact sale, I’m not sure that really counts.
Let’s just hope corporate doesn’t tell the clerks to take this one out of the box, too.
