Welcome to “Speak American,” where we take a look at several games from all genres, formats and generations that have one thing in common—they all have the poor taste to speak some kind of gibberish that isn’t even American. We’ll examine these games to see if us unilingual Americans can actually play them and, if we can, to see if they’re worth playing in the first place.
Episode Two is pleased as punch to waste 14 minutes of your life with:
Takeda Shingen – Superfun if you like clicking on numbered maps. Really, who doesn’t?
Pocket Love If – A dating sim that is much less masturbatory than the name implies.
Otokojyuku – Which is, essentially, a crude version of Bushido Blade on a pogo stick.
Captain Rainbow – A superhero who, despite his name, seems to be representing creepy sexual predators much more than the LGBT community.
Now in HD with properly mixed sound!
The way the bunnies disappeared after what you said… brilliant comic timing.
Great stuff, Christian! (say that like Morgan Freeman from Robin Hood)
Also, what is the name of the intro song?? That’s some pretty catchy stuff!
Thanks! The intro song (and the outro song too) is a song called Balls20 by Spamtron. I chose because it was reasonably catchy, it was released under creative commons and also, heh… balls.
