The Humble Indie Bundle has, four times prior, proven to be an excellent way to facilitate acting like a smug prick to everybody who paid less than you support charities while also getting excellent indie games. The Humble Indie Bundle V might bring the most promising bundle yet with Limbo, Amnesia: The Dark Descent, Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery EP, Psychonauts, and, if you pay more than the average price paid for a bundle, Bastion. On top of all this, you also get the soundtrack for each game.
Charities this time around are split between Child’s Play and Electronic Frontier Foundation. So throw a little jingle their way and pick up an all-star bundle of games.
No way I was gonna pay full price for these terrible games. Actually, that’s a joke, because Amnesia is worth $10 alone so pay the above average price and snag Bastion too, even though it is a lame game. Steam Keys is the clincher, pay more than $1 and you get to redeem Limbo, Amnesia, Sworcery and Psychonauts on Steam, as well as the DRM-free downloads for Windows, Mac and Linux. PLUS free soundtracks in MP3 or FLAC.
UPDATE: Good news for anybody who already bought this bundle! Lone Survivor, Braid, and Super Meat Boy are now yours for the taking as well – no matter what you paid. Anybody who hasn’t gotten this bundle yet, just exceed the (reasonable) average price for the games and you’ll get the whole 8 game bundle and soundtracks. Also a warm feeling in your heart because, you know, charity and crap.
You can demand the steam keys for Super Meat Boy, Lone Survivor and Braid, too, even if you already purchased the bundle.
