Sony’s press conference just wrapped and here we are to recap. Nothing hardware or app related was revealed. It was all about the games, and boy there was a lot.

Sony opened their conference with a new intense story and gameplay trailer for The Last of Us Part 2 in what is probably what is the brightest nighttime sequence I have ever seen. The game is exclusive to PS4 and will be released this winter.

God of War will be getting a Harder New Game Plus mode. It will be completely free for all players at a later unspecified date. The game itself is available now for PS4.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was given a new trailer, confirming the return of four classic maps to both Black Ops 4 and Black Ops 3 (for those that pre-order the map pack for BO4). The game will be available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC this fall.

A trailer for the next Destiny 2 expansion called Forsaken was shown. The game is available now for PS4, Xbox One and  PC and the expansion will be available September 4th.

Reveal trailer for the beautiful Ghost of Tsushima, A samurai epic that takes place in the year 1274, and is developed by Sucker Punch studios. No release date has been given, but it is exclusive to PS4.

We got a reveal trailer for Control developed by Remedy and 505 studios. It will be coming to PS4 and Steam in April 2019.

After more than a year of silence from Capcom, we finally got a badass reveal trailer for the remake of Resident Evil 2. The game was completely remade from the ground up. It will be available on January 25th, 2019 on PS4 and you can pre-order it and the deluxe edition today.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, from the creators of Rick and Morty, we got a reveal trailer for Trover Saves the Universe, coming exclusively to PlayStation VR…sometime.

We got yet another trailer for Kingdom Hearts 3 showcasing a level based on Pirates of the Caribbean that, compared to the Frozen trailer from yesterday’s Microsoft show, makes it look like a completely different game. The game will be released on PS4 and Xbox One in January of 2019 and will also be available in a bundle that conveniently includes Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Remix, 2.5 Remix, and 2.8 Remix.

Shifting tone yet again, Sony showed the newest gameplay trailer for Kojima’s Death Stranding—further illustrating that we have no idea what it’s about, but we all still want to play it. It’s exclusive to PS4 and no release date has been given.

I hope you like samurai games because we also have a reveal trailer for Nioh 2. No further information has been given, but it is at least coming to PS4.

Sony seemingly wrapped up their conference by showing a new trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man, revealing Electro, Rhino, Scorpion, and Vulture. The game is exclusive to PS4 and will be released this September.

After it seemed like it was all over, Sony ended on a reveal trailer for FromSoftware’s Deracine for PlayStation VR. No further information was given.

Next up is Nintendo tomorrow morning. See you then!
