Just in time for Valentine’s Day, check out this 8-bit Nintendo-inspired set of Christmas tunes. They’re not just straight translations of “Jingle Bells” through a chip-tunes generator; they actually sound like someone was trying to make a holiday-themed beat ‘em up in the vein of Double Dragon or River City Ransom. (It’s called All Come All Ye Ninjas, and it’s about saving the President’s daughter in time to open presents on Christmas morning. And it turns out that the only present she wanted was to see her family again.)
