GameCola correspondent Becca Clipper was on the scene in Medford, NJ earlier today to witness the afore-announced Nintendo-sponsored “celestial event.” As you might have already guessed, the once mysterious occurrence turned out to be Nintendo employees flinging magically-produced Kirby-shaped foam creations into the early morning sky.
Please enjoy the following photos and video of this special event. Special because, hey, who’s ever seen Kirby floating in the sky for reals? And special because it’s incredibly unlikely that a major videogame company will ever come this close to my hometown ever again.
No, seriously. My hometown is so far out of the way that the nearest mall is 45 minutes away. Nothing this interesting will ever happen there again.
