That Dead Rising XBLA game sounds an awful lot like a demo to me…: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/08/31/dead-rising-2-case-zero-review-undead-and-loving-it/
Everybody in the media is calling it a “demo”, but it isn’t. It is a standalone game that introduces elements from Dead Rising 2, but has its story, area and achievements. The game does allow you to transfer stats to Dead Rising 2, but this isn’t new. Wolfenstein did it last year.
I meant, “has it’s own story”.
In an effort to save money, I’ve vowed not to purchase any video games for a month! I’d better revisit this list in a few weeks… though really, I’ll just splurge and buy Atelier Rorona. I know I will.
