moopIn 2002, Disney teamed up with Ron Gilbert to make an adventure game called Moop and Dreadly: The Treasure on Bing Bong Island. The game was aimed at preschoolers, because everyone knows that preschoolers make up approximately 90% of the gaming industry.

Moop is a large purple teddy bear thing, and Dreadly is a wannabe pirate captain. Together, they team up to find a treasure called the Golden Glockenspiel. Highlights of the game include random quirky jokes and an over-the-top narrator who shows up at the end of every episode.

For those of you who missed the game—which is all of you—GameCola staff writer Michael Gray has a video playthrough, covering all six episodes of the game. Enjoy.

  1. Believe it or not, I used to play this game when I was in 1st grade. And I think I still have it.
