Guess what—Capcom is releasing another fighting game! I know right, totally left-field! Straight out of East Jesus Nowhere!
JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, an out-of-date 2D fighting game from a long forgotten era of gaming, is getting re-released on Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network for 1600 Microsoft Points or $20. Wow, I didn’t think Microsoft Points were still a thing.
Sure looks worth $20—not. Do we really need another re-release of a 2D fighting game?
Looks a LOT like Marvel vs. Capcom. $20.
This HD re-release was announced because CyberConnect2, the developers of the cutscene Asura’s Wrath, are developing a new game in the JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure franchise, to coincide with a new animated series and to cross-promote a range of energy drinks, JoJo’s Rapid Punch, and—no, I made that up.
Rumors suggest that it might be called “JoJo’s Bazaar Adventure”, and it may follow JoJo’s quest to become the greatest merchant who ever lived. Actually, no, it’s a fighting game again. Looks kind of decent, but do I have to get invested in the series to be able to play it?
I’m so excited, I’ve literally pissed myself. That was lie, I’m not excited.
