dungeon…in everything but its name, anyway! Seriously, you watch this trailer, and you tell me that these characters aren’t going on a legendary quest to try to secure their dark legacies:

Dungeon Hunter: Alliance (which is what the game is actually called, I guess because you spend most of the game traversing the forest Gen’eric in pursuit of the elusive wild dungeon) features online and offline co-op, and it’s set to come out this April for the PlayStation Network. And apparently it has Move support!

There’s no word yet on whether Gameloft is planning to just copy/paste levels from previous Gauntlets—after all, not only is that their M.O., but it’s also the M.O. of Gauntlet itself—or whether the game is going to be interesting and fun. I just hope it has a big spider demon that you can kill over and over again for massive amounts of gold.

P.S. Sorry if I got your hopes up about a new Gauntlet game, but if you remember what the last Gauntlet game was like, it’s probably for the best.

Update: Hey-hey, it looks like IGN’s already done a hands-on preview of this game! …Back in November of last year! GameCola: All the News That’s Fit to Print…Six Months Ago.
