So, hey…remember that time I insisted that we never talk about Phoenix Wright on The GameCola Podcast ever again? Well, we’re planning to have some very special guests for the next podcast recording who, shall Phoe say, wouldn’t feel it’s Wright to nix that particular topic.
That’s right—next time, on The GameCola Podcast! A special interview with the creators and performers of Turnabout Musical, the Phoenix Wright musical! Why us? Why them? Let me quote one of the coordinators’ e-mails to explain:
…When trying to decide which gaming site we were most interested in doing a podcast with, the project director specifically requested GameCola because you had “called Phoenix, and by proxy [our show’s star], a slice of mancake”.
So there you have it! My near-creepy (NEAR-creepy) infatuation with the ace attorney scored us an exclusive interview! All right! They’ll be live in GameCola Studios (actually Skype) to discuss the show, the “Highlights” CD they released a few months ago, some upcoming new tracks they’re ready to debut, and, with any luck, which Ace Attorney characters they think should get together.
Do you have anything you’d like us to ask the Turnabout Musical team about their project, or about the Ace Attorney series in general? Post a comment here, and we’ll include it in the show! Particularly if it’s about which Ace Attorney characters they think should get together.
Update! This super-awesome podcast exists! Go check it out!
If Mia Fey could possess any character in the series (and not just those from the Fey family tree), which character would you like to see her possess? (It really boils down to who do you think Mia would look sexiest dressed up as.)
Is there anything you have in common with your character, or do you ever find yourself acting like your character?
For individual voice actors: If you could play any character, regardless of voice type or gender, who would you be most interested in? “The one I’m already playing” is a valid answer if they’re your first choice.
You know your trip to Colorado? Well what do you think was your favorite song that you did? My favorite was ‘I’ll Be There, Pal!” =D
I’ll be sneaky and put another one on. Was is Pleady or someone else who realized the Damon/Apollo relation?
We discussed Apollo’s lineage on the podcast, but our focus was on his mother, not his father. Someone mentioned the Damon/Apollo relation in passing, but we didn’t discuss it in detail. In retrospect, I wish we had gone further into the topic, so I could suggest my theory that either Phoenix or the Judge is Apollo’s father.
