Been looking forward to the sequel to 999, which is seriously called Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward? Then you’ll be happy to know that you can turn off the American voice acting and switch over to the Japanese tracks.
Oh…you didn’t know that the game was going to have voice acting? And/or you’re not one of those awful videogame hipsters who by default just frothingly hate the American voice acting in localized games? Doesn’t matter; you should still be happy. Why?
A very reputable-sounding source on Tumblr dug up some voice samples, and, well…they sound like this.
Now, far be it from me to be the grumpy old man of gaming (“get these voices off my lawn!”), but between the DBZ-rejected voice samples and the game’s PS2-era graphics, I think 101010 might be a tough sell when it launches in late October. (…But I’m the one who likes the game.)
