Jeddy’s First Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that it’s only been a year since I staged my hostile takeover of GameCola HQ. Few may remember Paul’s sorrowful resignation speech…mostly because half of the current staff has only been around since I took over. But, if there’s any meaning behind the fact that we still have the exact same number of likes on our Facebook page as we did that fateful day, it must be that we at least haven’t gotten any worse.

A lot has changed behind the scenes in the past year, but I hope we haven’t lost sight of GameCola’s principle tenets of Gaming Outside the Mainstream, Videogame Humor, and Making Beard References While Reviewing Old Games. The podcast still doesn’t stay on topic, we still celebrate The END DAY each year, and half of our staff members are still in high school. At least we don’t make as many soda references as when we started.

It’s my first anniversary as Editor-in-Chief, my eighth as a GameCola staff member, and the twelfth year of GameCola providing you, the GameCola Faithful, with refreshing content. To celebrate this online holiday, why not sit back, relax, and take a sip of some of GameCola’s earliest offerings? We hope it still tastes just as good as the first day you popped open the can!
