When I talked about the 2014 Indienomicon Expo, I tried to mention as many games as I could. Sometimes, you just run out of space. That said, one of the games I missed mentioning is now on Kickstarter! Allow me to present CatFish—a fishing game…with cats.
I had the chance to talk to one of the developers, and as we went on about pixel art and low-poly graphics, he assured me that I’d be interested in CatFish. While I hear that a lot from indie game developers, I was surprised to look the game up and actually find that I did like the game. I mean, it’s a fishing game…was I really supposed to expect it to be fun?

Their Kickstarter campaign is looking for the pretty modest sum of $6,000, and it’s already a quarter of the way there. If you don’t have $10 to give so you can get the game when it’s completed (you can pledge less, but who doesn’t want the game?!), you can always vote for them on Steam Greenlight…or follow them on Facebook, or follow them on Twitter!
