It’s a special time of year here at GameCola. It’s October 1, and you know what that means!

No, I said “October 1”, not “October 1st”! Today is The END DAY—the anniversary of savage war engulfing the world and civilization being destroyed. Every year, GameCola celebrates our favorite fictional apocalypse, and this time we have a very special treat for all of you!

Have you ever wondered how to say “The END DAY” in Japanese? Well, Alex “The Jeddy” Jedraszczak, your Jedditor-in-Chief, has taken it upon himself to translate the entire text of God Slayer—the original Japanese release that would become Crystalis.

Here in video format is a comparison of his translation against the original text from Crystalis, complete with commentary! Part 2 to come later.

Happy The END DAY to all, and to all a good civilization is destroyed.
