Guests and ‘fests abound in this landmark edition of the GameCola Podcast! Today we have the honor of bringing in Cameron and Noelle, friends of Anna Bryniarski and Diana Gray respectively, to talk about the group of four’s experiences at MAGfest, a popular New England music and gaming convention. The discussion includes an all-encompassing summary of the 2017 Music and Gaming Festival, including…

  • How did our motley crew travel to MAGfest?
  • All the famous celebrities everyone met, including The Runaway Guys, Jirard the Completionist, Smooth McGroove, and many more.
  • All the videogames everyone got to play on the show floor (spoiler: mostly drum rhythm games)
  • So much money that was lost to the artist’s alley showcase featuring cool merch.
  • A plethora of productive panels attended by our lovely crew.

And plenty more stories and adventures! Thanks especially to our guests for coming on, and thank you for listening! If you like what you hear, be sure to checkout the GameCola Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Twitch, and iTunes pages, and send us emails at podcast[at]GameCola[dot]net!

  1. In the part about “real music what sounds like chiptunes but was before videogames”, was it YMO? They’re one of my favorite bands, and they usually come up when people talk about that subject. ALSO they’re mentioned in Read Only Memories if you look at the poster in your apartment. If you use the headphones on it, it plays Rydeen…!
