Eric Kennedy, dude, has recently acquired every single Super Nintendo cartridge ever released in North America—a grand total of over 700 games. To celebrate, he and his friends are playing through ALL OF THEM this weekend. A three-day bender with 60+ hours of Super Nintendo games. My own system just got a little more yellow just thinking about it.
Eric poses with the final SNES cartridge: Mario’s Time Machine.
He started last night, but if you tune in right now, you can still catch Home Improvement: The Game, and watch him shoot staples into dinosaurs. He’s doing it for charity, too, so if you’d like to support Relay for Life AND gain a frighteningly comprehensive knowledge of SNES titles, you can check the stream out here.
(Full disclosure: I found out about this through the Facebook feed of occasional GC contributor Andrew Raub, who’s friends with Eric.)
Edit: The marathon might be over, but you can still watch archival footage of it here!
