You thought that video of two soul-dead teenagers having the worst day of their lives was bad? Check out this shakycam footage of additional Kinect Star Wars gameplay: specifically, Han Solo and Lando Calrissian dancing to an auto-tuned pop song called “I’m Han Solo,” with actual lyrics like:
I’m so happy the carbonite is gone. I’m movin’ on. I’m so happy that it’s over now. The pain is gone. I’m putting on my shades to cover up my eyes. I’m jumpin’ in my ride. I’m heading out tonight. I’m solo. I’m Han Solo. I’m Han Solo. I’m Han Solo, Solo.
On the plus side, this makes “Han shot last” look like pretty reasonable character development by comparison, right?
This is sooo disturbing. I can’t decide if its funny or just going wayyyyyyy to far.
Oh deary me.
I thought April Fools was yesterday.
I read a review the other day saying that the dancing minigame is the best part of the whole game.
I think I saw an interview with one of the creators of this game saying “I want this to be the most realistic Star Wars experience ever.” Apparently he confused Star Wars with Step Up 2.
Dance Pad’me Amidala!
Can I “Like” this comment? As in on the Facebooks? Because I want to.
I’ve actually been looking for a WordPress plug-in that would let you do that! No luck finding one that’s compatible with the site yet, though.
Look, you can now!
I was going to make a joke about how this is Star Wars as interpreted by Simple Plan, but then I just felt really old all of a sudden.
“HOW COULD THIS HAPPEN TO ME!?”
“I’M JUST A DROID, AND LIFE IS A NIGHTMARE!”
Just plain wrong. Anyone else having “Holiday special” flashbacks?
At this point, I think there might be more bad Star Wars things in the world than good Star Wars things.
This video reminds me of the time I watched Robot Chicken in the Twilight Zone with Justin Timberlake or that was just a nightmare but its still bad all the same. What the hell is George Lucas thinking? Is he so hard up for money that he needs to allow this crap to be associated with his franchise?
