It’s the most wonderful time of the year, everyone. The time when the prices on Steam drop low enough to reach the bottom of the Dead Sea. Get those wallets ready, folks, because you still have your hard earned cash in your account. Listen, It’s screaming, begging you to buy games! Welp, here’s your chance!

Soon you’ll be getting e-mails telling you a game on your wishlist is on sale. Maybe that really cool new platformer or the weird anime game you’ve had your eyes on is finally at an all-time low price. You could probably even get both of them. Should you do it? Should you buy two games for the price of one? OF COURSE YOU SHOULD, DON’T ASK QUESTIONS.

Oh, shit—DLC is on sale for a game that maybe doesn’t need DLC. Oh, man—it looks somewhat interesting, or at least interesting enough that you looked at it for a good second and a half. Hmmmm. You still have some money…

Yes, buy it now. Do it.

Hmmm, what else? You seem to have bought everything on your wishlist. Huh. You could always check your queue for more. You know, those games Steam recommends because why the hell not? Not sure what any of them are, but they cost only a few dollars. Buy them. All of them. Immediately.

Still have money left over? Finding games you love and want to force your friends to play? Buy them games. Buy them and make them play the games with you. Think they won’t like it? Too bad. Do it. Do it now.

And that’s your guide to the Steam Summer Sale. Buy everything, regret nothing (hopefully), and game on!

Anna Bryniarski is a pretty uninteresting person with an interesting last name. She also has the best self esteem ever, right next to that casserole that's been in the fridge for weeks wondering why no one's eaten it. She's also definitely a Disney princess and GameCola's social media trash queen.
