With no redeeming qualities whatsoever, the Nintendo 3DS remains a regretted purchase for many. For those of us with more money than sense, and a death-wish, our apology letter from Nintendo comes with ten free Game Boy Advance games attached. I will very quickly sum up each one in seven words.
…from Nintendo
- F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Great, another Mode 7 game from Nintendo.
- Super Mario Advance 3
Yoshi’s Island, with more levels? Thank you.
- Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Ganon’s minions, why are they here? Stupid.
- Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
Never played this; strategy games bore me.
- Kirby & the Amazing Mirror
Best game in the series; go play.
- Mario Kart: Super Circuit
Great, another Mode 7 game from Nintendo.
- Mario vs. Donkey Kong
Hmm…bananas. Hmm…bananas. Hmm…bananas. Hmm…
- Metroid Fusion
It is great, but no Zero Mission.
- Wario Land 4
Ukurere Mitaina… Tabiwo Shiyo… Aruite Iko Tsukino…
- WarioWare, Inc.
One minigame is titled “Spunky Monkey.”
Every ambassador, download Amazing Mirror immediately!
These Ambassador games will be out Friday 16th, according to notifications recieved by 3DS owners. I hinted this would be coming really soon in the news I posted last week.
Damn, thats actually a hell of a lot better a list than I was expecting.
You have no idea how happy I was when I saw Minish Cap on there.
Now I’ll have 6 Zelda games, 3 Mario Kart games, 2 Yoshi games, 3 Mario vs. Donkey Kong games, a lot of regular Mario games, 3 Metroid games, 2 Wario games, a Kirby game, *takes a deep breath* and 7 other games I don’t really care about or need, but play to pass time. Not that I’m bragging.
All on my nintendo 3DS! (Still not bragging!)
Seconding Meteo’s sentiments! I might even play some of these, instead of just downloading them all and immediately forgetting about them!
Kirby & the Amazing Mirror: “Best game in the series”?
Out of interest Nathaniel, which game do you consider to be the best in the series?
My favourite is Amazing Mirror because of that distinct feeling of freedom. Past the first stage, the rest of the game can be tackled in any order, with several pseudo-stages merged into larger areas, each with split paths that lead to different exits. Add to this the new abilities, the new bosses and a double boss fight against Smash Bros’ Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Pure and utter brilliance.
