The GameCola Article Poll! Or, Tell Us Why We’re So Great.

The GameCola Article Poll! Or, Tell Us Why We’re So Great.

It’s poll time, everybody: What’s your favorite kind of content on GameCola? I’m not talking about articles written by specific people; no need to identify your favorite staff writer. I’m talking about whether you come here for the podcasts or for the columns. I’m talking about whether you like reviews short and punchy or longwinded and detailed. That’s what I’m talking about.

See, the Top Articles link in the sidebar and that tiny rating meter at the bottom of each post don’t really convey how much you like our posts; it just lets us know who’s cheating and voting for themselves. This poll is a chance to tell us exactly what kind of content you like and would like to see more of. Not that we’re obligated to listen to you, but it’s nice to have a feel for what works if we’re ever torn about which way to go with a post. It also helps to explain our baffling popularity (or lack thereof).

So, what’ll it be? Subtle humor, or over-the-top ridiculousness? A fresh spin on games you know all about, or coverage of things you’ve never seen? We’re not doing this for an ego massage, and we’re not looking to hear what you don’t like; heck, there’s no “we” involved, ‘cuz I’m really the only one who’s asking. But still. Tell us about your favorite kind of carbonated content on GameCola, or we’ll make an empty threat.

About the Author

Nathaniel Hoover lazily administrates the GameCola YouTube channel (GCDotNet) and writes/edits new articles such as his "Flash Flood" and "Sprite Flicker" columns on a "whenever common decency demands it" basis. If he didn't mention Mega Man in the article you just read, you're probably not looking hard enough.
